Superb, moving & informative about Australian hidden history re: mistreatment of the South Sea Islanders; very well acted & excellent cinematography ~ improved with each episode. Well worth watching!

Very disappointing – thought it was such a good idea for a story but a lot of the characters were unconvincing, especially those in the jury room and how they spoke to one another. The worst character acting was the supposedly bereft mother, wife of the governor, whom every time you saw, was smiling & her immaculate make up and outfit, despite the fact that she just had lost her kidnapped and then murdered son.
