Now, there's alot to be said about the BBC, regardless, one think is unmistakably true, that company can do some phenomenal series! My god!! The sheer beauty in almost every shot is just.....specialy on a 50 inch television, seriously, almost makes your heart stop!! Made my heart cry a few times, if I can be honest. I bow deeply, to the professionals that made those shots. Works of sheer A R T. I will buy the DVD on release even though i do not have a DVD etc. It is worthy of being purchased. This series manages to show with ease how USA was/is a country of such profound beauty that suffered(suffers?) from such appalling violence. Indeed, its like Heaven and Hell, in one package. Literely!! Also the plight of the native Americans is very well portrayed. "They where just in the way" indeed......alas. Had my adrenaline going! This has only happened in 4 different movies. Last Samurai, Dances with Wolves, Braveheart and Apocalypto. My oh my...but I digress. The acting in this series is just phenomenal. From everyone! Quite a few English actors in the series, which suprissd me! 🤣🤣 Fairplay! Only one episode was a somewhat annoying for me. When Malmount was fleecing the protagonist of her money in England. A small annoyance in an overall masterpiece. To me, this series stands shoulder to shoulder with Dances with Wolves. Well done. It is a masterpiece worthy of the highest praise.
