I loved the book because it was so real.
It answered my questions “why did grandparents just die at home” when I was a girl? Oh no antibiotics, no chemo, no heart or stroke drugs, Charlie was a pioneer of anesthesiology. Surgery couldn’t happen until there was penicillin! Charlie has such spirit & boy we need that now!
