I watched the first two episodes and I actually really like it.
I love the differences from the original stories. It offers something new and reimagines the story in a way that includes more identities. I suspect that a large handful of its critics dont particularly enjoy the societal push towards diversity and inclusion, and so since the show happens to include that, its being written off as a bad show.
You should not go into it expecting a continuation scooby doo releases, this new series is more like a "what if we completely reimagined Velma as ____"
The show is great at what its trying to achieve, but you have to be open to seeing the characters as something new!
Give it a watch!!
