I watched this show when I was much younger, and I have a couple gripes with it. 1. The morals of the main 4 are questionable. For example, in The Princess and the Frog episode, the princess says that she liked the prince better as a frog. So Princess Pea literally turns the prince back into a frog! 2. The continuity of the book characters relative to the main 4 is wonky. But, for what it's worth, it does help kids learn to read. It's purely functional. But these issues could just be my bias because I'm too old for this show.
