I really enjoyed watching this one. The motives and the way they embellish the individual stories of all party's involved keeps you second guessing yourself a few times. Granted, some things were obvious but, still added to the twists within the plot/storyline. Their struggles out in the bush when all hell breaks loose is a pretty good depiction of what we faced out there. I was told a story by my Uncle, who was in Special Forces during Nam. There are 2 parts he talked about extensively. #1 Too become a special forces you were put in a coffin and submerged in water with only a 1-3 inch gap at the top of casket for air reserve. (don't know if that part is true) #2 2 platoons were told to take the hill for strategic purposes. 1 Platoon came up the 1 side and my Uncle's Platoon came from the other. My Uncles platoon wiped out every last man from the other platoon that was supposed to lay suppressive fire down to cover them. It still haunts him even today. I've also been to war and I couldn't imagine having to use your brothers in arms body's to hide under just so they could live after the VC come through.
