original post- This movie was pretty good in some aspects, the CGI, the story, and the cast all did their part. Although I give it a low rating because it's simply not my cup of tea which is ok. I wasn't a fan of the sporadic scenes, the extremely violent scenes, and the comedy. The comedy was ok but not great or decent. I left the theater wanting to forget what I watched. I found it that disturbing. If you are susceptible and feel queasy from extreme violence, do not watch this film, if you are not you may enjoy it far more than I have. I do recommend all to check it out and figure an opinion out for yourself. gave it a 2/5 rewatch and current post- I'll give it a 4.5-5 just because of some of the insane shots in this film. For example, the walking scene in the rain with "Hey" by the Pixies playing was phenomenal. The violence was still disturbing, but since then I have grown some adjustments to it I was able to see the movie more for its characters, humor, and storyline. The movie isn't perfect despite me giving it a 5/5 but it is a very enjoyable film, and glad I took a rewatch with some friends. Despite the gore and dark humor, the movie still manages to be wholesome.
