I gave this rating to this movie only because I loved the trilogy. However, by itself, this movie is not a good movie at all. They tried to fill it up with so many flashbacks and reminders to the first movie that it is too much. The script is not consistent with the old movies either. Morpheus trusted Neo with his own life in the previous movies, however, in this one, it seems that Morpheus doesn't trust Neo at all. The logic in this movie is twisted as well. In the first one, machines let Neo live, because they didn't know that he is the "Messiah", but why would they let him live for 60 years (as mentioned in the movie) when they already know who he is? There are many other problems in the movie like the existence of portals. But it might just be the first part of a bigger story that is going to come together in later movies and I really hope that is the case.
