Often misquoted as a Shakespeare pearl (perhaps due to the same christian name of the authors ; William) the clever juxaposition / comparision of this sentence by William Congreve in the Mouring Bride is an all time classic.....'Heaven has no rage like love to hatred turned, nor hell a fury like a woman scorned.โ Subsequently altered to 'Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned'!
