Well, on can't argue the fiscal success of the film, boasting a multimillion profit from a $50,000 budget. In that end I'm compelled to give a kudos, but this film was just a mess. There wasn't much direction or substance to any of it at all. Unless you just want pointless gore with a nonsensical story that drags on at least an hour longer than needed.

I figured the film would be rife with misconceptions and misinterpretations about what tarot actually is. It is a movie and for entertainment purposes after all, however, there was such a lack of coherence and direction with this film. The overall look of the film appeared that they were working with about half the budget of Terrifier 2. Other than possibly drumming up an interest in tarot for otherwise uninitiated indeed visuals, I really didn't see any value in this thing. I mean, even Drag Me to Hell was a much better film than this. Thankfully, I didn't pay to watch this. For anyone in the fence about this movie, just go ahead and skip it. Read the spoilers or hold out to see it for free if you feel compelled to watch this. A one-star is generous, I'd give this a half star if it were humanly possible to do so on Google reviews.

The movie delivers exactly what it's titled, however, this comes off as what you'd get if Hollywood gave the Syfy original movies a bigger budget. Life is short, don't bother throwing a moment of it away on Cocaine Bear.
