The academy just discredited themselves by giving any Oscar’s to this movie, let alone the majority of all major categories. It’s apparent that the liberal academy voters pick a social cause and decide the fix is in on who is winning an Oscar. This has been this way the past 10 years. One movie sweeps the major categories? How can this be with all the voters supposedly voting independently from each other. This 2.5 hour long movie was like the script was written on an acid trip. No direction and just chaotic bizarre sequences of no logical sense. Is this the best the academy has to offer out of all the movies made during the year. I did feel good from the acceptance speeches of the Asian actors overcoming racism and post COVID discrimination and violence on their communities. That was heartfelt and emotional but the movie itself sucks and is a waste of time watching. If you like The Matrix, it’s up your alley but not Oscar worthy for sure. Just another example of the glorified Hollywood entitled discrediting the history and reputation of their awards show.
