I have seen it several times and never get tired of it. Yes Richard Burton looks rediculous in his mercenary uniform but his speaking voice can make anything sound believable. I'll say that I almost felt sorry for Sir Edward at the end and the drug dealer member of the family. Both were rotten but....

It is still one of my favorite repeats. It was a favorite of my parents. Since there were just a few stations to watch back then I got caught up in it as well. I remember when the conclusion was announced we were scheduled to be returning from a family vacation. We had to stop at a hotel on the way home in order to watch the conclusion.

I have watched it off and on since 1980. There are always great nut cases on the show. I am wondering why Shiloh was killed off so soon. I realize characters have been brought back from the dead even when seeing their actual corpes though. Also the baby (Wiley) scandal has got to moe along as well as the codicile in Helena's portrait.

I saw the first two parts and look forward to seeing the rest this evening. I fetl sorry for Nicholas. He was not prepared to lead Russia let alone anything. I think he meant well and there were some people trying to steer him in the right direction but became the victim of rotten advice. I actually liked the commentary and haven't seen too many sex scenes yet. Perhaps these scenes are in future episoded.

I actually watched the movie. I was ready for the poor girl to get free the first half hour into the movie. I kept thinking what a monster her father is and looking forward to seeing getting his. I'm disappointed that they didn't show him being tried and imprisoned.
