I love everything Jodi Picoult and this book does not disappoint. Jodi has researched the subject well as always and I love learning new things from her books. I feel in love with young Trixie straight away and could sense her loneliness when her boyfriend ended things, it broke my heart to imagine what she felt. I've not finished the book yet and don't want to give away any spoilers. In true Jodi style, there are plenty of twists and turns in this story. I wasn't a fan of the comic strip and feel this story would have been better without it but I can see why Jodi chose to do this as it fitted in with Trixie's dad character. I just personally felt that it took away from the story rather than added to it.
