I wasn’t sure what to expect from this new adaption of my favorite Jane Austen novel so I was very surprised by how much I enjoyed it. The inclusion of the audience by Anne was so much fun. Even though some of the dialogue changed it was in the style of Miss Austen and helped move the story along. This is the first movie I have seen with Dakota Johnson and my only criticism would be that her hairstyle and only hers, was not in keeping with the era of the movie. Loved Richard E. Grant!!! I think Miss Austen would approve of this retelling of Anne’s and Frederick’s much-delayed romance!
