I personally don't know how Vince Gilligan could have made this film any better. I think people have too many expectations for another ending that would lead to perhaps another movie? I thought it was a perfect answer to most any of the burning questions we've had since we saw Jesse Pinkman drive off in that El Camino.
I was pleasantly surprised that the director was able to pull off the same pacing and intensity as the actual show and quite honestly the two hours flew by without once looking at my phone. I highly recommend watching this if you want to fill in more of the unanswered questions. However I strongly advise that you not go into this expecting the same kind of ending that the series gave. The acting alone would make up for any shortcomings you may find there. Again I just don't know that Vince Gilligan could have done any better. It just proves to me that he truly is a phenomenal writer and director, especially to be able to recreate something as unique as the Breaking Bad universe so many years later.
