Poor performance marrs fresh ideas. New open world, great; same old problems that ruined previous games, not so great. These could well be the last Pokémon games that ever come out. Truly a shame, but between the frankly alarming performance including items not loading, sudden vanishing of assets and stuttering issues every few minutes, and the limitation of only 400 of the 1000+ Pokemon available (inexcusable given the ability to download content to the system) plus poor designs of new Pokémon-seriously, an olive is one of them! Everything that was wrong with Sword and Shield is back, and even the things that worked reasonably in those games have been downgraded for the new games. I’ve been with the series since the beginning and this is the worst Pokémon game of all time, a shame when it was supposed to open a whole new world for Pokémon.
