This is another great album by Beyonce. One of my favorite things about Beyonce’s body of work is that she uses each album to tell a story. The songs are chapters in a book and from the first song to the last song, she takes you on a journey. You could see this same technique in Destiny Fulfilled, and it has evolved over the years. I enjoy each track on Cowboy Carter, although I definitely have my favorites. This album also reminded me of how deeply I loved my country music as a child back when I was a Kenny Rogers fan. I'm glad Beyonce is reminding us of how influential Black musicians have been in every aspect of “American” music and culture.
