Lioness - A Taylor Sheridan show filled with big name actors and a lot of action - what could go wrong. Well . . . the first thing that goes wrong is the typical Sheridan script, filled with a lot of F bombs, constant tough guy argumentative bravado, and nothing really clever to keep us watching. Season 1 was actually really good. Good plot build and good suspense. Definitely left viewers craving Season 2. But, here we are and they found a way to ruin this show with the typical Taylor Sheridan junk. The constant arguing amongst characters ruins every episode. The show comes off more as some kind of comedy/drama - all these gov't agencies arguing with each other and trying to prove each other wrong; the agents on the team arguing with each other to sound tougher. This really made it hard to watch each episode because too many of these shows do the same thing, so it's just stale. It took until Episode 6 to get something interesting going. Of course, that interest was just about ruined with more arguing and swearing at each other. And, I'm actually not opposed to swearing - it really does have a purpose. But, this show is middle school stuff. The only way I'll probably finish the season is by waiting a few weeks and forgetting how bad it is. I doubt this show will get more seasons. It's just boring!

I'm always up for watching new things - pretty tired of the same ol' cop/detective type shows. So, Tracker seemed like a good series to get into. I first liked that Justin Hartley stars as Colter Shaw. I'm actually not a big fan or anything, just think he's nice to look at. And, I am a Ken Olin fan. I've made it through the 1st season and generally like the show. I liked that Colter has a "team" of folks who help him gather data. I saw Wendy Crewson's name in the beginning and was excited. I've always liked her, but she's only in 2 episodes. As far as the rest of the cast, Fiona Rene and Hartley have a great chemistry and she helps make the show interesting. One episode has Hartley's real life wife - and they definitely have great chemistry. It started off kinda boring as the first couple episodes were basically the same thing. But, it's gotten more interesting as the season progresses. I'm happy to see it'll be back for a 2nd season.

I’m absolutely loving this season of True Detective. No review would be complete without stating how Jodie Foster is at her best in the part of Det. Liz Danvers. And, it doesn’t stop there! Every actor is exceptional in season 4. The storyline is quite exceptional - definitely not your garden variety plot line. Adding in the indigenous people angle, along with the hints of the supernatural, make this season very interesting. I’m closing in on episode 6 and suspect a twist is coming. Hope I’m not disappointed!

It's ok. Season 1 was really good. Season 2 could've been a 2 hour movie.

This is the most boring Star Wars offering yet. I’m seriously blown away at the high ratings. There is so much pointless dialogue that just drones on. This could’ve been a 2 hour movie, not an entire season. It is a great story to be told, they just wasted a lot of time to get anywhere. Honestly, I’ve stuck with it this far because of some of the great actors in it, and I keep thinking something worthwhile will happen. But, nope! With 1 1/2 episodes to go, if it doesn’t wrap up a few parts of the story, I’m not watching Season 2.

This show is not really very good. Not as funny as Home Improvement was. Tim Allen can voice a plastic doll in animation, but his real acting skills are lame.

I really wanted this movie to knock me out! I love Disney live action remakes of classic animated movies. My first disappointment was Prince Eric's scenes. I didn't feel a spark from this actor until later on in the film. The first song he sings is bad. Second disappointment - Melissa McCarthy. I love her! But she just didn't do it for me in this film. I felt she could've been a little more over the top. And, then, biggest disappointment - Akwafina. I love her, too. But, she is the same character in most movies, so that gets a little old. And, overall, it seemed like something was missing. BUT, I enjoyed everything else. Yes, Halle Bailey is wonderful. I'd love to see her in a live musical. She's beautiful, gorgeous voice, and she can act. Hope she transitions into other movies well. I loved the casting of Javier Bardem. Enjoyed the undersea graphics - made me wish I was an oceanographer. Honestly, I can't see watching this movie more than one or two times. Maybe the next time, I'll catch that spark and change my mind - and I'll change my review.
