It's an honest review of the human existence. We live to live. We create to create. We do simply because we have done before and will continue to do. We are such simple creatures at our cores. I love how Anderson can make such a profound jab at societal expectations in nearly every film he puts out; here it's definitely something new, though— almost a laugh in the face of modern media, but also a clear and searing reflection. I think it's the kind of movie to annoy most viewers and critics alike, but life is annoying and pointless and that is the point, isn't it? Finding beauty in the meaningless?
