Everything about this book was dark, scary but all in all lovely!. The abbot is such a deliciously hateful character that I was quite literally hanging of the pages waiting for something bad to happen to him. This book singlehandedly refuels my love old gothic horror! The way Lewis; crafts his characters had me rooting for some and cursing others - to cut a long review, I'd definitely recommend this book!

Honestly one of the best dramas that I've ever watched. I always find myself coming back to it; for the politics, the drama, the intrigues, the great acting, the visuals - everything. Chen sun and Ni NI have such a great chemistry together it was hard not to root for them throughout the entire story :)
