I love David Duchovny’s acting, as well as his music. The balance of genres in his songs is perfect. The eras he takes influence from are quite prevalent, giving the music almost a classic feel. “Holding Patterns”, and “Layin’ on the Tracks” embody more melodic rock, where “Nights are Harder these Days” invokes a more 90’s rock tone, similar to David Bazan. He talks about troubles in life, as well as success, each of his songs has personality, and each one just sounds fantastic. I am quite excited for the next album.
