Ryan Thomas Meliere

I'm a 5th grade special education teacher and I have used this novel with multiple classes. Students enjoyed meeting each of the 7 students in Mr. Terupt's class their different personalities led to some quality discussions in class. Yes, students were concerned when he was hospitalized but I made it a point to let them know that he would eventually survive. I would definitely recommend this read and I plan on using again in the very near future.
