I do enjoy starting my day with the gang on Morning Joe. Lots of interesting chatter. Though, Trumpers would be inscenced (?) because those anchoring are decidedly anti Trump, which is my stance, too. I listened with appreciation this morning, 11/17/2023, with the analysis regarding our country’s commitment to Ukraine and Israel. I, for one, can’t breathe each time President Biden pledges more and yet more billions of dollars in an “forever” pledge to support the countries. How can he do that in “our” name. Did he ask us if we would be amenable to it? If the assumption is that Congress, our elected representatives, would make it happen in our names, that has proved to be wrong. I’m a Baby Boomer, a generation raised in a time when questioning was becoming the norm for citizens, but generally not the government. They were the authority so what decisions were made held. We also had, in comparison to today, quite limited methods of procuring information. Well, social media has blown that up! To wrap this up, President Biden will always leap to limitless assistance because that’s what shaped him as a Boomer and knowing that the United States was the Big Brother and savior throughout the world. He just can’t help himself. What a time to be alive!
