Since I watch these shows whenever possible, I must like them. Of course, it was obvious that Mikael favors Copenhagen...I really liked it there when I visited some years ago although I doubt they had the bike lanes worked out at that time. Toronto also shows as a favorite, so I assume he lived there while in Canada. I would be interested in any ideas he would have on how to improve biking in Vancouver, BC since bikers can be a problem for drivers and in risk as a result. We don't have an expansive area for improvement except east into the suburbs which are already overcrowded. With a population of 2.5 million Greater Vancouver is squished between mountains to the north, ocean to the west, and the US border to the south, so expansion as a rapidly growing area has crowded everything eastward. There is a good planning group in the big city, but they didn't plan on the exorbitant costs of living in this area, and rents are outrageous so that we have "tent cities" forming wherever they can. We could use your ideas and savvy.
