I owned Bikku Chaman Lal's English language book Hindu America in 1971 brought at my law College classmate Bailur Krishna Rao's suggestion. It was in my possession till 1982. I appreciate the book for its Indo cultural link with Mexico, Peru and Chile. I started to correspond with the author then staying in South Delhi and at one stage he even requested me to translate the book, little realising that I am not good at written Malayalam then. That ends the matter. I shared this information with my daughter Roshna presently staying in New Jersey.
