I "hate" Matt Damon, but not that he should take it personal. Even when he acted exceptional in a role, I still don't like him and would prefer a different actor. That aside, this movie was able to keep me watching by examining the disgusting sci-fi procedure meant to virtue signal environmentalism even at the cost of one's humanity. I had to see where this was going, but it never really went anywhere.
Nothing interesting happened after they downsized; no insects or animals broke into their park, no terrorist attack or someone stepping on these small people. The guy in the bar that they found offensive was on the right track. Something along those lines would have been interesting to me.
