A very mindfully written anime. It breaks the stereotype of psychological thrillers being about murderous or mentally powerful characters. Decim, the main character, is an arbitrator who decides the fate of the souls of the deceased. The monotony in his behaviour and language precisely follows the expectations set by the old man. The anime brings you to realize the value of life and urges you to live a "fulfilling" one. It has a commendable balance of emotions that doesn't leave you saddened at the end. Not the best anime but would give it a solid 7 out of 10. A good watch indeed.

The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo is an amazing thriller directed by David Fincher. Firstly, the opening credits induces immense excitement and suspense in the viewer's mind. Lisbeth Salander, the gothic swede (also the protagonist), is played by Rooney Mara (who is a swede herself). Daniel Craig's experience also adds essence to the movie. Although, viewers that have read the Trilogy might find the movie to be inclined towards Mikael Blomkvist's strive for his lost pride. The movie should have emphasized a little more on Lisbeth's life. Salander's character adds a dark and mysterious aura to the movie. In addition, the family tree is quite confusing and you lose track of who is who quickly. The movie should have explained the characters further. Furthermore, the duration is also an anomaly, considering the fact that the ending of the mystery was not well transitioned. In conclusion, this thriller is a good pick. It enthralls the spectators and engulfs all their attention. It is a must watch and a read.

A mediocre movie. Not Katherine Heigl's best. Very few rom-coms are successful in establishing a intriguing story line. This movie will give you the laughs but is nothing more than a classic man and woman hate each other then fall in love movie. Doesn't convey a memorable story. A 3 out of 10 for me.

A promising storyline but poor chronology. Kaneki Ken is a very critical character in the anime. He experiences an incident which changes him into a half ghoul and can potentially alter relations between ghouls and humans. However, his character is portrayed either like that of a cold ghoul or a warm-hearted human being. His transformation is unexpected and its purpose well understood. Viewers that don't read the manga will experience tremendous confusion. Certain arcs in the anime do not align with the manga which explains the poor narration. The sequels fail to impress too. Some characters lighten the grim aura of the anime. The violence can be disturbing for some audiences. Could've been a better anime. A 5 out of 10 for me.

A beautiful movie with an impeccable soundtrack. Definitely a must watch. The beginning is not very attractive, you can call it a cliche teen romance start. Trust me, don't judge the movie yet. You are about to be a part of the most beautiful story, the story of Mitsuha and Taki. The story revolves around two teenagers, living in two contrasting places. Mitsuha is a resident of a small-town called Itomori. She dreams of living a fulfilling life in Tokyo. Taki, a student, lives with his dad in Tokyo. He works hard and leads a life that Mitsuha finds "ideal". Every other day, both switch places and live each others lives for 24 hours. As each day goes by, they grow closer to each other. Little did they know that one moment could alter their relationship forever. The rest of the story is for you to comprehend. I would give it a solid 9 out of 10.
