I would love to love this, and maybe I will eventually, but episode one feels like a good season three episode two. I read the books when they came out and can see elements here that could lead to greatness. But as an intro for people who may be new to Foundation, what a missed opportunity. I doubt we will get to a season three. Season two is a toss up, but based on this first episode I wouldn’t buy a season two if I were Apple. I leave it to others to get into specifics but I have to wonder, did they field test this (or whatever you call that in the entertainment industry)?
