This sits very uncomfortably between satire and serious drama and doesn't do either well. Most of the characters are just irritating, 2-dimensional caricatures. There is also annoying overuse of what I think are supposed to be quirky features like focussing in on details. This may be deliberate - it's hard to tell. Good things - the cast (so many big names), and some of the themes, like the need for heroes and who makes an acceptable hero but all in all, not for me.
