Mom First

Truly a disappointment. While Toy Story 1, 2, and 3 are all about selflessness, Toy Story 4 is written with complete millennial mentality. It’s all about how one character needs to finish one final act before being allowed to abandon what was previously recognized as responsibility, is manipulated into giving up what makes them special, and how everyone else should just support this selfishness. Overall the funny parts are genuinely funny, but the storyline sets the wrong precedent for kids and completely abandons the moral virtue of the previous movies.
