I am so so not proud of myself for not watching this movie for so long and also not in the theatres! It is surely a masterpiece. It has everything, Emotions, Humour, Wholesome and Overwhelming Feelings, Morals, Motivation, and more. It is the kind of love story which you watch with your family. The aesthetics and the set composition are purely amazing. It is also a masterpiece for Kids. They can relate ad will want to see it. These are the kinds of love stories we need. I have been living in that environment for a long time. Both the actors did a spectacular job. Of course, there is not much romance but there is substantial love. So that is a part. It caters to the soul and not other superficial things. I am in awe of all the stupendous child actors that have literally stolen the show. Now, even I want to live in a stranded house in Kashmir's Dal Lake and find a notebook. It is so pure and the world needs to watch it and appreciate it as much as they can!!

This movie is a must-watch. But, if you do, just remember you will face hard times adjusting to the regrets of not watching it in theatres. Anyways, the film is a bang-on comedy. While we regret unnecessarily that Bollywood is not making good movies, we somehow ignore the fact that films like Karwaan, Meri Pyaari Bindu, Hawaizaada, Detective Byomkesh Bakshy!, and so on are being ignored mercilessly. Karwaan is set on an unusual but actual backdrop. At not even a single point in the film, one can feel that the story is unrealistic. The characters grow in the course of the story and they find themselves and resolve the issues. There are many big-budget movies where the leads are friends and they find their friendship on trips and all. It makes us believe that we need to head to goa, or Spain to find real friendship. Somehow, the characters lack depth. But, in Karwaan, the characters and well written and all three are particularly different and realistic. They are bound together on one common ground, fatherly issues. It is very common how Indians to deal with uncomprehensive parental techniques. The idea of perfect families is a myth for Avinash, Shaukat, and Tanya. They are all set on an awkward mission that deals with dead bodies. The comic element in the film is Shaukat. No better actor than Irrfan Khan could have actually played him. Shaukat was written in his palms and his portrayal of a middle-aged funny and interesting man was highly apt. Avinash is the main lead of the film and he is the real hero. Sterilised at heart, a bored youth who belongs to a middle-class family and is struggling to find happiness in his habitual life stories. He is an introverted man but he is well-mannered and right-headed. His interactions with all the comic elements in the movie and practicality make us fall for him. He is someone we can find in real life but choose to ignore. Dulquer Salman charms us all but he equally looks ordinary. We have to look behind his normality in the film if we ought to find his dashing face. He is not sexualised for his public image of a handsome man. He is valued as an actor and is believable as Avinash. He is relatable and that is the exact main character vibe one would need. Films need to have believable leads like Avinash. Last but not least is Tanya. Mithila is as magic as her. She is so appropriate at every point in the movie who is dealing with an old-school Avinash and stubbornly straightforward Shaukat. Tanya is not perfect. She is one of those kids who belong to cosmopolitan families and is taking unnecessary advantage of her freedom. Her audacity at points is shocking but understandable for a college student. She learns the difference between crossing the lines and being a rebel in this two-day trip. The characters are not miraculously changed or they are randomly falling for each other. There is individuality and understandable progression. The best part is the dialogue. Normal yet extraordinary. The plot and portrayal are amazing. The music is not unnecessarily infused in the story and is aptly charming to the ears. The cinematography is beautiful and aesthetic. The film is definitely a feel-good movie. It is a definite watch for an audience who is seeking a realistic film with insane comedy and wants to take a thoughtful and satisfying apogee with them.

I am not usually the one who would watch a movie and go about here and there posting reviews. This is the first movie I would like to review. Simply, because it touched my soul. For anyone who is still deciding if they should watch this film, the subsequent review will surely help you. I am trying to avoid spoilers even though there is so much to talk about pertaining to what happened in the film. Plot: The movie deals with an orphan lieutenant Ram who receives multiple letters from across the nation after he makes a shining win in a subtle but unofficial mission in Kashmir. He ends up getting unaddressed letters from a woman pretending to be his wife. But why would a woman do anything of that sort? And after 20 years, why is Rashmika's Character on an expedition to hand one of those letters to Sita Mahalakshmi? How did the love saga of Ram and Sita reach a point where they are apart for 20 years? This movie's story makes it the most special. In India, while we are still trying to find genuine love films, Sita Rama comes to the rescue with a vibe similar to Veer Zara. However, SR has a unique identity of its own. The plot is full of twists and turns and with every passing scene, the story gets intense and unimaginable. There is not a single thing that has failed logically or literally in this film's story. This is 100% a worthy storyline. Setting and Cinematography: The setting of the movie is amazingly beautiful. The scenic beauty of Hyderabad and Kashmir is well captured such that it totally matches the vibe of the film. Again, this department is full of excellence and perfection. Music: This is like icing on the cake. You will not return back without singing the songs or humming the background music. Typical Carnatic music tunes and beautiful placements of songs make this movie totally special. Acting: Well I saw the movie in Hindi. It was well dubbed. DQ was perfect. He as Ram is the best thing the makers did for Sita Ramam, and mind you whatever they have done in this movie is already perfect. I fell for the character of Ram. Moreover, I related to him. It was after a very long time that I genuinely loved a character. So far, I have only found myself empathizing with one. The last time I fell in love with a movie character was Shravani from Majili. I am a North Indian (UP/ Uttarakhand) and I regret everyday for not knowing Telugu. DQ ill leave you teary-eyed. Mrunal Thakur as Sita is flawless. She not only looks beautiful but performs exceedingly well. She is sort of up to the DQ level. Rashmika suits what she is given and there is nothing better she could have done. Supporting actors such as Vennela Kishore, Prakash Raj, Tharun Bhascker, Murali Sharma, Sumanth, Shatru, and more are so suitable in their respective parts. In a Nutshell, not watching this movie would be the most depressing thing you could do in life. The film is full of action, drama, romance (a subtle and genuine one: no sexual scenes, making it more perfect), comedy, emotion, and everything you want in a movie!!!
