This is a perfect example of Trump’s strategy of disinformation and obfuscation. The saddest aspect of this is how he represents the ‘Cult of Personality’ wherein his followers will either choose to believe what is not true or simply disregard all of it and simply state that they don’t care because they love him so much that it doesn’t change their opinion of him, mainly because he appeals to racist, misogynistic xenophobes. The producer of the film has been previously convicted of voter fraud, but Trump pardoned him. Hmmmm…. “There are two ways to be fooled; one is to believe what is not true; the other is to refuse to believe what is true.” These are not even half-truths supposedly ‘supported’ by dubious evidence devoid of substantiation.
