First off, I was excited for a new Jennifer Lawrence movie... I mean, It's JLaw! Who doesn't love her?! She is soo diverse when it comes to her acting but, sadly, this movie ruined her credibility as an actress for me. The ultimate end goal to the story was great, to get an introvert 18yro guy to finally open up and be prepared for the real world when he attends college in the fall. But the movie as a whole, definitely wasn't worth watching! JLaw's acting felt as if she was trying entirely too hard! Even the comedic aspect of it was forced, it didn't flow smoothly out of her mouth, while funny, it was more of an awkward force funny. Like I said great story line but not a great movie. The end goal was achieved but I would never watch this again, even if it was on cable, with commercials, and nothing else was on! I would prefer to go wash my dirty dishes or to do laundry. Seriously, don't even waste your time unless your openly wanting disappointment!
