Although Aquaman suffers from the same bad writing and poor direction that all the other DC movies have, Jason Momoa's charm (albeit a little bull headed and jockey) holds the movie together through some decently visual scenes and okay storytelling. Although too much was going on in this movie, it wasn't hard to follow.The best DC has to offer to date, even though these people can't seem to get movie making down as strongly as MCU always has. Also Black manta looks like Alpha Five from the original Mighty Morphin Power Rangers. Whereas MCU would have made a joke about it, DC takes themselves too seriously.
