The movie is a disappointment to watch. First of all, superstar doesn't register as "Annaatthe" among audiences. It is so apparent that this script is written for "Thala" which might've been passed over for obvious reasons.
The hide and seek kinda cuts off and at the end where this "Thangam" sis interrogates this pretending to be dying goon (Adi Aaalu ) with a most irritating - "Who saved me?!" was the peak of "Shabba" moment. She stays with "Annaatthe"'s lover and she couldn't figure that out?! Asking an almost fainted goonda was the tipping point.
As a lawyer Nayan did not get a weighted frame where she argues and wins a court case. She wins "Thangam" case with ease and it happens just like that - how in the world does that apply logically?! Her presence can be felt, but the role could've been better.
Since there is no storyline they tried to make up with Kushboo, Meena, and a few other established actors without having any logical characterisation. Not to mention four ( including the statue as well ) villains. While the local villain can have a change of heart why kill the northie villains?! So much drama to handle lol
To sum it up, it is still watchable for sarcasm and for the music. The pro in this movie is songs, all of them are great to listen and cool to watch it on screen.
