This is the most Americanised films I have ever watched. And I've watched a few. Racism and America-goodness fill the whole movie and it doesn't show anything about China and the greatness of communism. CAPITALIST PIGS!! This movie completely destroys the point and message of Li Cunxin's memorable memoir. Absolutely disgusting. I think I threw up 6 times during this movie. 0/10 don't recommend. Go watch some anime. Or read the book (not Americanised and racist) Don't waste your time with garbage like this and do something decent with your life None of the directors or filmmakers read the book. They were just told the story and instructed to make it American The rice scene is the most racist scene I have ever watched in any movie. Absolute filth and an excuse of an adaptation.
