I absolutely adored the movie, including the ending which most people seem to dislike.
Everyone is entitled to have their own opinions but I believe that this movie was a masterpiece from beginning to end.
I understand why some people might feel that Venellope didn't appreciate Ralph's efforts to make her happy and that she was selfish for leaving her game and everyone else. BUT I believe that this movie sent out a great message. Firstly, it doesn't matter how many favours people make for you. You still don't owe them anything.Your happiness is the most important thing. I associated Ralph with a protective parent that was letting his child grow and explore the unknown. Yes, you love your children. You raised them their entire lives. You have been their hero and went above and beyond for them. Still, they are entailed to live their dreams and follow their own patch. But this doesn't mean that they are not your children anymore or that they don't love you. You don't have to crush their dreams so that they will stay with you.
