I watched it over the weekend. It was alright. -honesty I did not have high expectations because of the cast choice. The seaworld was nothing but dark and gloomy … king Tristan’s beautiful palace did not exist in the movie .. everything looked plain and boring under the sea. I did not see chemistry between Ariel and Eric throughout the entire movie ..Ariel overall, did not show any personality she had in the original movie … I was a little disappointed that Ariel was just a poor choice for this role. My favorite role was Ursula. Melissa McCarthy did a wonderful job!
