To be honest, this movie is bloated. It lacks substance considering the length of the film. It felt like a drag for 3 hours until the climax, the last hour of the show. And what I have seen with that last hour of the show is 80% the same as the original release. The 20% difference is the result of more backstory of cyborg, and an extra action for flash. The rest are the same. The only thing that is good is the improvment of cgi. I guess it was made to be 4 hours because it can be, as what most people say as well. It is meant to serve its fanbase, but I don't think the general audience will like it. And if they want to increase their fanbase, they are failing. I don't see a proper construct of their world building, no direction and just a lump of everything they think is cool. Bad storytelling, bad movie. The movie felt like they are almost at the end of the saga, while we don't even know how the geography of their universe look and work. I want to discover DC in movies and tv, live action of course. They just have to make sure they don't leave out the small things, their environment, the world where they revolve around with, and not a development that will only serve for fight scenes that are sometimes nonesense. I just hope that they put the bar high. Unless their target audience is only their fans, not the general audience.
