Since this is a beat 'em up game, it will be repetitive, since all you do is beat them up! If you're looking for a game with level progression like Overwatch and Assasin's Creed, gameplay styles like Riverdale City Girls and Ninja Turtles: Turtles in Time, and more of that great Karate fights, this is the game for you! The story doesn't take place in and is not cannon in the Miyagi-Verse (which includes Karate Kid 1,2,3, the Next Karate Kid, and Cobra Kai seasons 1,2,3,and 4), since you literally have fire and ice powers for Cobra Kai Dojo and Miyagi-Do Dojo, respectively. You can choose whether to start out as Miyagi-Do or Cobra Kai, and each team has four of the main characters to play as: Cobra Kai has Johnny, Miguel, Hawk, and Tory (whom is the weakest character) while Miyagi-Do has Daniel, Samantha, Dmitri, and Robby ( who is sadly the weakest of the Miyagi-Do characters). Fight throughout a real map based off of the Valley (no wait, really!) and complete the story mode with both dojos to unlock the secret ending! This game has fun comic-book style cutscenes, and the game has a retro feel. To help with the asthetic, a completely original soundtrack based off 80s rock is ties it all up with a pretty bow. Get this game if you are a hardcore Miyagi-Verse fan!
