Plan Bee is a modern masterpiece that effortlessly captures and perfects everything that a movie should be. Ever since I bought Plan Bee on DVD, I find myself disgusted at the thought of watching any other movie, as I know that it could never compare to the masterpiece that is Plan Bee. The characters are so deep and complex that I could swear they are real. Throughout the movie, each character embarks on a journey of self-discovery and by the end of the film, they have all completed a beautiful character arc that would make any English teacher cry.
The intricate and well-developed world that Plan Bee takes place in felt so realistic that I forgot what reality was, and the incredibly necessary inclusion of American Presidents, such as "GeOrge WAshiNGtOn," further helped to engage me in the story. When the toad ate Pistil, I closed the movie and cried for 2 months straight before I had the strength to continue. Needless to say, my relief when Pistil returned was so immense that I ascended to heaven and met God.
Possibly my favourite line from Plan Bee is when Zips exclaims “I’m so tired!” The raw emotion and passion in that line brought tears to my eyes and made me rethink my entire life. My favourite scene is harder to pick, as it would be impossible to choose one from the sheer amount of incredible, life changing moments from this gift to humanity, however, it would be utterly unthinkable if I didn’t mention the dumpster scene. The dumpster scene was one of the most magnificent moments in the entire film, and when the dumpster lid closed, I screamed “NO!” so loud that everyone within a 10 kilometre radius of me instantly went deaf.
It horrifies me that I can’t rate this masterpiece any higher than 5 stars. I believe that Google should make an exception for Plan Bee, so I can give it the rating that it truly deserves: Infinity/5
