This show is terrible in several areas. The worst aspect of Friends is its unlikable characters. All of them are pretentious and unintelligent. The only somewhat funny one is Joey. The show is poorly written. The jokes rarely land and often relied on cheap gags to get laughs. As a result, it depended on creating romantic relationships between characters for much of its existence - the mark of a bad show.
