I think it really showed us how the difference between today's society and 1800's society would have worked together!!
There were a lot of selfish motives and actions that there just wouldn't have been, back in the 1800s. I'm sure neighbors would have worked alongside each other better in the 1800s or they just wouldn't have survived.
