Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Breakpoint is many things... unfortunately, good, is not one of them. They take the gameplay basis of Wildlands and add many features from other TC/Ubisoft games such as tiered loot (Division), large open worlds with NPC dialogue options (Assassins Creed: Odyssey) and excessive use of drones (Amazon order fulfillment). However putting this all into a game is like adding nuts and bolts to a chili, you may be able to swallow it, but you'd probably rather someone else kick your teeth in instead. That being said, there are elements it has done well, such as a feel of truly being stealthy while infiltrating an enemy facility, fast-paced and fun gunplay, character/weapon customization, and I even savored moments of the 4v4 PvP. But betwixt bites of delicious meat and sauce, you'll find frequent instances of awful camera angles, UI/lighting bugs, and bad model clipping that makes operating this title very frustrating. All this paired with subpar movement/driving mechanics and a story so bland that some friendly mennonites dont want to hear brings a hardened Ghost Recon lover to a hapless conclusion. It is becoming increasingly obvious that some developers are more interested in quantity over quality, in number of releases and game content. Is it entertaining? Sure. But is it good? Sadly, no. 4/10
