One word to describe this movie Terrible. This movie clearly takes shots at social hot topics attempting to normalize and romanticize black and white intimate relationships. There were many disrespectful scenes, lines, and references made ignorant to how they pertain to the black community and the history of African Americans in America. Watching this movie was super painful from start to finish. The underlying messages were apparent and in my opinion destructive to the black community. They used popular social figures from the black community to appeal to the black community but failed in a number of ways to create positive perspectives of black people. The scenes were drawn out and painful. Truthfully this was a pitiful attempt at a romance if anything it’s a satire.
