This film had about as much to do with the Tom Clancy book as "The Running Man" did with the story Stephen King wrote. Basically the main character's name was the same... and that's it. It was a fine action movie with some quality actors. But it was not "Without Remorse".

Too much time spent on Hollywood political agendas and changing the story to suit their narrative and then cramming all of that in with elements from the first 2 books into a crowded 8 episode season filled with miscast actors with zero chemistry or depth, pointless emotional drivel and made up relationships just to push an all-inclusive, multicultural angle into an already established written story with 15 books. The world Jordan wrote was already multicultural and inclusive if they just filmed it the way it was written. Some simplification and adaptation for modern sentiments is to be expected, but what they did with this is ludicrous. They got so caught up in trying to please all the special interest groups with their casting choices and re-writes that they completely lost sight of how to tell a story, let alone THIS story.
