I was hyped to watch this as I love dragons castles and historic event based films. Unfortunately I cannot recommend Damsel. There's a lot of flaws in many of the scenes. The story, although it made sense in the end, is a flawed and ridiculous plot line. It's also just not that engaging. Having said that, Millie Bobby Brown is fantastic. Brilliant and talented actress. Kinda wasted on this load of rubbish sadly.

I started watching it on Disney+ in 2022 and I only recently finished it, coz I kept stopping and starting. It's a good watch, especially if your into supernatural stories, however if you watched one or two episodes, then you pretty much know the set up for all 5 seasons. It's very repetitive. Some storylines make for a good watch because of this, where as others are just mundane. It's something I'd recommend watching, but it's hard to binge watch. Around season 4 it starts to go down hill and in season 5, it really starts to rip off the 1990 film Ghost. This is the thing. It's basically Ghost the TV series. Not necessarily a bad thing, but very predictable. I can see why it was cancelled in the end. Jennifer Love Hewitt and the rest of the cast are amazing though, and their characters all make for a good time. Mediocre overall.
