[spoiler alert]
Love the final ep. Azula’s fall to insanity was greatly filled with emotions. Her crazy acting 🔥. She’s got all the background becoming untrusting, greedy. When she saw her mom?! Also, I think she loved seeing Zuko behind her uncontrollable desire to finish him for some reason. Maybe because she’s competitive and projected her achievements and validation from and with her brother. I always loved the cinematography of the fire siblings together, their element side-by-side.
Sokka & Toph dynamic, Sokka looked out for blind Toph during fights off-ground, letting her manage her own combat while taking her hand to lead her, which is exactly the kind of care she needed.
I anticipated for Katara to use bloodbending against Azula but she showed her being resourceful instead. I liked that both Katara and Aang stayed loyal to their values that they did not cross their personal boundary when faced with a powerful enemy. Honestly, Aang deliberately avoiding hurting anyone from the start is one of which kept me curious for how will the show progress. The wisdom of the lion-turtle as the way to end it all was cool, I love it.
The show maintained being children-friendly however driving the issues and war in actuality are. It could be adapted into a more critical one to dive into the issues more and I would love to see it. Nonetheless, ATLA is a great show!!
I can talk more about the characters' complexity. For a somehow light show, there's a lot to talk about from the characters, history and verse, plot and its progression, and finally, the possible future left from the original show.
