Love 90s movies, so much care about detail. All of it was great except AL Pacino little overacting... he wanted to be so scary so he screamd so loud ... theater. He was way more scary in the godfather as Michael with his ice cold frozen eyes . Anyways overall rewatching it now in 2024 ... still very impressive movie. Gives you little thinking about humanity... and times we live now and ... vanity we are all possessed by social media.

Cast.... Timothee as Wonka... ? No no no, no magic there, no passion and no weirdness. Too much singing boring songs that don't really evolve the movie but feels like a pause between scenes. Movie about corruption and reality we live in now where rich reject all great ideas for their benefit only, not the benefit of all .... pretty sad movie yet that's something kids should be ready for when they grow up. Hugh Grant as oompa loompa was fantastic! Could be more of him in the movie. I won't be watching it again as I did with other versions of Wonka movies.
