Critics got this one wrong. GREAT movie!!! Slow, but purposely so, plus consistently suspenseful, thoughtful.. At one point every move Tom makes, you are sure if he’s going to get shot. Very well done movie. I don’t understand why Rotten Tomatoes and others gave mediocre reviews. Kudos to del toro too for producing it.

Martin Freeman is beyond outstanding. He is so talented it’s nutty. I can’t even tell he’s acting; so smooth in his role like it’s real. He deserves some type of award. Keep hiring him for other movies/series.

Whoever gave less than 4 stars should go see Spider Man or Bat Man. That’s more your speed.
